Recipes and Methods
Official, competition, and community recipes β each a precise, repeatable spec.
This is the home of every brewing recipe in the knowledge base β the part built to feed a future recipe app, so each note is precise, structured, and machine-readable. A recipe is simply a documented set of choices about ratio, grind, temperature, and pour pattern that someone found reliably delicious. Learn to read one and you can reproduce a champion's cup in your own kitchen.
Before diving in, read How to Read a Coffee Recipe β it explains the Recipe Card schema and every field you'll see repeated at the top of each note. Then Recipe Variables and Cup Outcomes teaches you how to bend any recipe to your taste by changing one variable at a time. Together they turn a list of numbers into something you can actually tune. βοΈ
We sort recipes into three categories, each tagged in frontmatter so the app can filter them: official (the maker's own method), competition (World Brewers Cup routines), and community (popular creator and roaster recipes). Browse the category indexes β Official Brewer Recipes, Competition Recipes, and Community Recipes β or use the tables below.
